Bronze Celebration Tokens: Your Guide to the 20th Anniversary Event Currency

As part of the exciting 20th Anniversary Event, players will have the opportunity to collect Bronze Celebration Tokens, a special currency designed for purchasing exclusive rewards. In this guide, we’ll explore how to obtain these tokens and the fantastic items you can acquire with them!

How to Obtain Bronze Celebration Tokens

Currently, there are several known methods to earn Bronze Celebration Tokens. Please note that some activities may not be available for testing on the PTR, such as the Guest Relations secret finding event, which may also reward tokens upon completion.

One-Time Sources

You can earn tokens through specific quests during the Anniversary event:

• Meet and Greet: Completing this introductory quest for the first time rewards you with 4 tokens.

• Truth of the Dark Irons: Completing this quest in Blackrock Depths for the first time grants 5 tokens.

Repeatable Sources

Most tokens will come from weekly activities and daily quests:

• Daily Anniversary Quest: Completing Celebrate Good Fun! each day rewards 3 tokens.

• Weekly Events in Khaz Algar: Participating in these events grants 1 token each. This includes activities like Special Assignments, Theater Troupe, Awakening the Machine, Wax Collecting, Spreading the Light, and Severed Threads Pacts.

• Weekly Quests in Khaz Algar: Completing these quests will earn you 2 tokens each. This includes meta quests like Archives: Seeking History and The Call of the Worldsoul, as well as quests from weekly calendar events such as A Call to Delves.

• 20th Anniversary Weekly Quests: Completing these quests, including The Originals and Soldier of Time, will reward you with 3 tokens each. New quests for the anniversary event, such as Chromie's Codex and Disturbance Detected: Blackrock Depths, are also included.

Additionally, the quest Timely Gate Crashers has been updated to feature new World Bosses for the event, but details on where to pick up this quest are currently unclear.

Important Note

Currently, it appears that only the first completion of these quests in your Warband will yield Bronze Celebration Tokens, which may be a bug or an intended feature.

Earning 100 Bronze Celebration Tokens will unlock the Token Collector achievement, allowing repeatable activities during the event (like Mount Mania and Fashion Frenzy) to also drop tokens.

Bronze Celebration Token Rewards

Bronze Celebration Tokens can be exchanged for a variety of cosmetic rewards, including:

Revamped Tier 2 Sets

One of the most sought-after rewards is the revamped Tier 2 sets, available for 60 tokens eachfrom Traeya in Tanaris. While the price may seem high, completing two achievements—Upgraded Apparel and Classy Dresser—will grant discounts on these sets.

• Core Hound Chain: 20 tokens (from the 2014 Anniversary Event)

• Obsidian Worldbreaker: 20 tokens (from the 2019 Anniversary Event)

• Baby Blizzard Bear: 10 tokens (from the 2008 Anniversary Event)

• Molten Corgi: 10 tokens (from the 2014 Anniversary Event)

Additional Rewards

Historian Ma'di in Tanaris offers even more rewards, including:

• Li'l Doomy Pet: 10 tokens

• 20th Anniversary Balloon Chest: 10 tokens (a toy that pops celebratory balloons)

• Coldflame's Edge: 10 tokens (a one-handed sword cosmetic inspired by Blizzard employee awards)

If you find yourself with leftover tokens after purchasing other rewards, you can exchange them for 20 Timewarped Badges.
