Initial Delve Tuning Hotfixes: Minibosses Removed and Scaling Adjustments

Recent hotfixes for Delves have introduced changes affecting group and solo scaling, and have once again removed minibosses from Tier 8.

Key Changes

  • Minibosses Removed from Tier 8: The formidable Zekvir Minibosses have been taken out of Tier 8 Delves. This change means players no longer need to reset the dungeon or employ unusual strategies to bypass these encounters.

  • Solo Scaling: Spell damage in solo content has been increased by approximately 12.5% compared to earlier in the day, following an unannounced 20% nerf last night. This adjustment results in mobs dealing 10% less spell damage overall compared to earlier in the week, enhancing the solo Delve experience with no minibosses to face.

  • Group Scaling: Reports indicate that group scaling in Delves has been reduced, particularly in terms of damage output. This adjustment appears to relate to the changes in solo scaling, suggesting that the damage in group Delves now falls between the levels seen yesterday and earlier today. Group Delves should be manageable again, although they may take longer than before.

Specific Nerfs

  • Waxface: The damage from the ability Throw Wax has been decreased by 14%.

  • Crazed Abomination: The health of this enemy has been reduced.

These adjustments reflect initial findings, and further changes may be announced by Blizzard.
