The Real Prep for the 20th Anniversary: A Guide to Earning Bronze Celebration Tokens

Bronze Celebration Tokens are a special currency introduced for World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary event. These tokens allow players to acquire various exclusive rewards, including new Tier 2 (T2) sets, pets, and other items. This guide will provide a detailed walkthrough on how to efficiently earn these tokens, the associated costs of items, and tips on maximizing your gains throughout the event.

How to Earn Bronze Celebration Tokens

1. One-Time Sources

To kickstart your token collection, complete the following one-time quests. These are account-wide, meaning they can only be completed once across all characters:

  • Truth of the Dark Irons: Earn 5 tokens.

  • Meet and Greet: Earn 3 tokens.

  • Shopping Squeel: Earn 5 tokens.

Total from One-Time Activities:13 tokens

2. Daily Sources

Engage in daily quests specific to the anniversary event, which provide a steady income of tokens:

  • Daily Quest: Earn 3 tokens per day. Over the course of the first week, this can accumulate to 21 tokens.

Dungeon Finder (4 Tokens per day):

  • Chromie Dungeon: 2 tokens

  • Classic Dungeon: 2 tokens

3. Weekly Sources

Take advantage of weekly quests and activities to significantly boost your token count:

THE REAL PREP for 20th ANNIVERSARY

Some of the weekly activities in TWW are not the same each week. The trick here is to identify those quest reward activities that change from week to week. When you turn them in on the week that the WoW 20th Anniversary starts, you will receive extra tokens: the normal token reward from the weekly quest, plus additional tokens from the previous weekly quests.

The key activities to focus on are the Main Dornagal Weekly quests and the weekly calendar event.

Main Dornagal Weekly

The Main Dornagal Weekly quest rotates between three different ones:

  1. Worldsoul Aiding

  2. The Archives

  3. Weekly Delve Quest

Worldsoul Aiding: Call of the WorldSoul

  • Quest Giver: Faerin Lothat in Dornagal, Isle of Dorn.

  • Activities: Choose from various engagements that rotate each week, including Snuffling, dungeon runs, world boss encounters, Severe Pact, Awakening the Machine, Spreading the Light, Theatre Troupe, and more.

  • Rewards: Completing this weekly quest will reward you with a Pinnacle Cache and 2 tokens.

The Archives

  • Unlocking the Quest: After reaching max level on your first character, you'll unlock a questline about the Archives in Dornagal, where you will assist Dagrand and Highspeaker Brinthe.

  • Objective: Gather 100 Titan Discs, which can be obtained from outdoor mobs, delve runs, or most efficiently from dungeons (15 disc fragments per dungeon boss).

  • Rewards: Completing the weekly Archives quest grants you a Pinnacle Cache and 2 tokens.

Weekly Delve Quest

  • Quest Giver: Brann Bronzebeard at Delve Headquarters in Dornagal.

  • Delve Features: Complete Delves solo or in groups (up to five players) with NPC companions. Encounter rare mobs, treasure chests, and complete objectives.

  • Rewards: Completing the Weekly Delve Quest also rewards a Pinnacle Cache and 2 tokens.

Accessing the Quests

You can access all three quests on any alt character that hasn’t completed the weekly meta quest for the last 2-3 weeks. If you don't have that, you can enter TWW with a level 70 character to gain access to Worldsoul Aiding.

Character Progression Options

  • Level up a character to 80 to unlock the Archives.

  • If you have a character that hasn’t completed the Archives quest, save it for next week when the Delve quest will be available.

Extra Token Opportunities

All three quests should potentially give you 2 extra tokens (the 3rd token counts as a normal weekly reward).

Preparing for the Bronze Celebration Tokens and the 20th Anniversary of World of Warcraft requires strategic planning and engagement with the weekly activities in The War Within. By completing the rotating quests and managing your character progression wisely, you can maximize your token rewards and enjoy the celebrations to the fullest. Happy adventuring!
