Upcoming Nerfs to Heroic Queen Ansurek on Weekly Reset

Blizzard has announced significant nerfs to Heroic Queen Ansurek, set to take effect during the next weekly reset. This adjustment aims to enhance the raiding experience for players tackling this challenging encounter.

Key Changes to Queen Ansurek

With the scheduled maintenance tomorrow, the following modifications will be implemented in the Nerub-ar Palace:

  • Web Blades Targeting: The number of players targeted by Web Blades on Heroic difficulty has been reduced from 4 to 3. This change is intended to ease the burden on raid groups during this mechanic.

  • Phase 1 Adjustments:

    • The first cast of Silken Tomb in the final cycle has been completely removed on Heroic difficulty. This alteration should streamline the encounter and reduce the overall damage taken by players.

    • The timing for the first cast of Web Blades has been adjusted to accommodate the removal of Silken Tomb, ensuring a smoother transition during the fight.

    • Additionally, the periodic damage from Grasping Silk has been reduced by 25% on Heroic difficulty, further alleviating pressure on players.

  • Phase 2 Changes:

    • The damage from Gloom Blast has been decreased by 15% on Heroic difficulty, making this phase more manageable for raiders.

These nerfs are part of Blizzard's ongoing efforts to balance encounters and provide a fair challenge for players. As always, the development team is committed to monitoring the situation to ensure that the gameplay remains engaging and enjoyable.
