Overview of Horrific Visions

Horrific Visions are a central gameplay feature introduced during the Battle for Azeroth expansion. In these immersive scenarios, players navigate through distorted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar, working to complete specific tasks that disrupt these corrupted visions and prevent them from becoming a reality.

Weekly Rotation

Players will engage with the same Horrific Vision, either located in Orgrimmar or Stormwind, for the duration of the week. Each new week brings a different Horrific Vision to explore.

Group Participation

These scenarios can be attempted solo or in groups of 1 to 5 players. The health of enemies within the visions will scale based on the size of your group, ensuring a balanced challenge.

Unlimited Access

In contrast to the original Battle for Azeroth version, which restricted entry based on the number of Vessels of Horrific Visions, the Revisited Visions of N'Zoth can be accessed an unlimited number of times. However, it's encouraged to participate in groups, especially as you progress through the visions and take on more challenging masks.

Entering Revisited Horrific Visions

To enter the Revisited Horrific Visions, head to Dornogal, located just south of the Coreway tunnel, once the event becomes available. After completing the introductory questline, you will be able to interact with the Portal to Horrific Visions to queue for the current week's vision.

Upon joining the queue, you will start in a room reminiscent of the Heart Chamber in Silithus. Here, you can monitor your Tribute progress, choose how many Masks to use in the Vision scenario, and consult with Soridormi regarding your specialization preferences or whether you want her assistance. When you are prepared to commence the Vision scenario, speak to the Image of Wrathion at the center of the room to get started.

Objectives and Gameplay

Your primary goal in Horrific Visions is to accomplish various objectives while navigating the vision. Aim to complete a total of 5 objectives per vision. Each scenario features a "Main Objective," which involves defeating the main boss (Alleria Windrunner in Stormwind and Thrall in Orgrimmar), along with 4 Bonus Objectives. Keep in mind that defeating the main boss will conclude the Horrific Vision, even if there are outstanding bonus objectives.
